Continuing on my latest mando work here [link] I decided that there should be more black women in the Star Wars universe (because I can't think of any black characters besides Lando Calrissian, Mace Windu and Quinlan Vos, and they're all male).

Anyways what started off as a lazy sketch turned out quite ok so I added some colors. Enjoy!

In this Star Wars novel called "The Cestus Deception" one of the ARC troopers has a child with a black female smuggler. Of course he dies at the end of the novel. :D

Well, actually, there was a Jedi in the prequel films with an especially high melanin count, her name was Adi Gallia. And if memory serves there were also several other women of the same skin complexion in the EU.
