All proportion issues set aside I got a few questions for you guys.

Do RC's wear belts at all?

If yes, where can I see one?

Why is it that RC Katarn armor make them look like ball-like russian dolls while they were clearly designed for covert ops and specialized tasks (and not tanking, literally)?

Doesn't look like a "fail" to me. Looks pretty awesome. :)

And as much of a KT fan as I am, I don't know if RCs have belts or not.

*looks at her Omega Squad figures...*

Doesn't look like they do. No belts, at least on the figures.

In Hard Contact, Karen has Dar taking first aid boxes etc out, which makes it sound like a normal "square pockets" belt is in the rig, but you never see a belt in the art of them....

Still nifty drawing. :)

OMG, awesome, you started. ^_^ I think it looks far from fail. :)

Yeah, I never really understood why Katarn armor made it look like if they fell on their backs, they could never get up again...

Actually, I always thought of the Katarn-class armor as being a lot like the MJOLNIR armor from the Halo series in terms of appearance. They always show nothing but the armor plates in the games, but in the books they're always having our heroes jury-rig all manor of pouches, pockets, bags, straps, rings, clips, clamps, webbing, backpacks, and magnetic locks onto their armor to hold everything from 12.7mm magnum pistols (and HE ammo) to telescopic cameras.

As for the art. Well, it actually looks pretty good ma'am. Especially for a sketch (concept art?).

Coolness is more important than realism in SW world I think. Hmm, I think some may have worn belts just like they could switch out backpacks and such. It's in the books, so I guess Omega did. They would need to have ammo in a convenient place, right?

What color is the ARC going to be?

And I don't know, maybe it's just me, but I feel like the RC could be a little bulkier. Maybe I just like big dudes. :p But if you were going for a more stream-lined look, then by all means, do what you want!

RCs do have a belt and a rather large backpack as well. Maybe this'll help.
