This is so beautiful I had to show my RL friend Marie, and she was like ummm who is that guy Snips is hugging and I went off on a tangent to her lol, she wants to read the books now hehe, but yeah the look on his face is priceless
It's bit of everything in this particular context. But in general, I love her! She's a breath of fresh air to Star Wars but it's not well shown in the TV show. So I had to include her in my fan fic and make something interesting out of it.
What I hate about her in TCW is that she's following the wrong Jedi! Jusik would make a terrific master, I think
AH! I'm glad you feel that way. I myself generally like Ahsoka also, but tons of people seem to have an issue with her; I agree, though, Anakin is the WRONG master for her. Jusik would, in fact, make an excellent one for her.
Well that's the point of my story: I try to show the "ugly" side of war, what soldiers and Jedi do and how bad they all are. Clone, Jedi and Mandalorian the same. Even though I appear like a Jusik fangirl on here I'm actually pretty neutral about him in my writing.
So if you do have the time I'd be interested in your point of view on the Vevut Squad story!
i read your story. your style is nice, i like when you wrote about difference between clones trained by mando and other. but i feel like you don't like Skywalker. i feel like you show him as arrogant idiot only with title of general, not as soldier who is he. and Skywalker worked with commandos -in book Jedi Trial when he was at first time as commander, he had under his orders squads of commandos. book doesn't has a much fragments about it, but he was their commander - he had experience with this unit of clones. and he learned much about being a good soldier and officer from a old sarge Gurdo. and he worked a lot with ARC. so his arrogant pose is weird to me - especially he has mostly a good relation with clones (he was the first jedi who give a name to oneof them, Alpha). also Jusik is little weird with that mando. i have that feeling it more for show. why he called Tano ad'ika if he knows she don't know nothing about mando? it was little silly (but i never was a fan of him, so maybe this is just my antipathy to this characters). i can understand clones who haven't a good feeling about unknown jedi, but why Rex is so stupid? he is a soldier (ok, maybe TCW make him as a "supersoldier"), so why he would be so unprofessional to other soldiers, who are his brothers?
ufff, i hope i not offend you in any way- i'm just critical person. and my view of SW - and especially AS is more by books and comics than movies (they failed in so many ways!).
Wow, I'm really sorry you feel that way about the characters after reading that fiction. Maybe I haven't made it clear enough in my writing, or perhaps I should have explained a little more... But for the sake of making my chapters rather short I skipped all the unnecessary "thoughts" narration because they take away a lot of realism.
You did notice those awful, caricatures that I made out of certain behaviors. Anakin is arrogant, Rex is rather frustrated of being in his shadow, and Jusik seems kind of shallow with the Mandalorian armor and using words of the language now and then. Those things were all intended. I don't want to be exact and faithful to all sources of material there is when I write. This is NOT my first Star Wars story. But the remaining fact is that a character is not "complete" until the end of the story. They all have flaws when I write them because, like them or not then they become interesting.
Character development is a strong aspect of my writing, that's why I'll never show a character in its perfect awesomeness (Skywalker and the clones, for example). Even Jusik whom I love, I know that even if he's the super hero type, he's still a young man with his quirks.
And lastly, yes you did offend me with such a negative review. But I won't resent you for that knowing that English isn't your native language and you don't master it completely. It's still pretty cool that you picked up as much as you did from my story and I salute the effort.
Just one thing, though: I don't write to make everyone happy. Some people like being "challenged" in their ideas, and my stories tend to challenge Fandalorians as well as the rest of all the SW community.
