The idea of showing one's work space is going around so I rapidly cleaned up my area to shamelessly show off mine.

This drawing is so not advancing, by the way. You can see the reference pictures etc, but I'm so lazy to actually work on it.

And yeah. I like looking at my own stuff.

Not sure if you've answered this already in another spot, but what pen tablet do you use? I'm on the verge of buying one and am asking for opinions. Your art is always amazing looking, and I'd really respect your opinion on it.

I use.... the expensive kind. But that's just because I'm more lazy than I used to be. My first pen tablet was an old Wacom Bamboo which is currently the best quality for low price. Then I switched to Intuos4 (the tablet on the corner of the desk) because it has twice the pressure sensitivity. I'm now using the Cintiq 12wx which costs over a thousand bucks (the screen tablet you see here).

Keep in mind that the tablet itself doesn't make anything look good if you don't have the skills - not judging you personally but I get asked about this a lot. You need to adapt to your new tools and work your way through digital programs to find your own style. Don't worry: drawing with a tablet is easy, it barely took me a month to really master it.

You're fine with buying a cheap one (the new Bamboo series is very much like the Intuos now) and it'll last you quite a long time.

Awesome. Thank you so much.I've been eyeing the Bamboo one and it's come up several times in conversations with others. Thanks for your advice!

I don't know why, but I really enjoy seeing everyone's workspace.

Looks like a nice spot for creativity.
