Matte painting? ...I remember watching "making of" documentaries with these huge glass walls of fake backgrounds for movies. Who uses that anymore? I mean, how much more expensive would it be to just hire a student in computer graphics to lay a few layers in Photoshop than to buy a 10 feet wide glass canvas... So yeah so to speak, I could evolve into that kind of painting if I spend the right amount of time focusing on detail.

Anyway yes, that's him. He doesn't play anymore of course but I still do and passing on all his teachings to this new guild I'm in. Tonight I introduced those kids to clock positionning on voice chat: "Target at 12 o'clock!" Haha... It's great fun though I wish he was around to give me a virtual pat in the back sometimes It's just great to have someone to look up to when I'm feeling down.

Love that track! I heard it a couple of weeks ago and rushed on my guitar to learn it. Now I'm hooked on "It's the only one you've got" and "Runaway", the choruses are so sweet

You have no idea. The worst part in all of this is that I can't write it in my CV: "Has lead many raids in high-end dungeons: tactical leadership and morale boosting" Damn shame.

Actually, even in FPS games you don't really get a chance to say things like "Copy that! / Roger / Incoming!" because they are so repeatitive... WoW at endgame content becomes so difficult that you really need to follow military discipline to achieve things as a guild. Even the most casual people don't feel awkward saying copy that when going through tacs ;D

Tomorrow we might be able to kill one of the 3 toughest bosses in the game. If we make it I'll just NEED to shout "Hooah!"
